I wanted a hat to wear with my safari shirts, but I will be wearing it with everything this Spring and Summer. It looks nice for casual and semi-dress wear. The mesh crown allows air to circulate nicely, but it still protects your head from sun and water. I could not believe how good a quality this hat was for the price. I have paid much more for lesser quality hats. This is easily a forty dollar value. This is the perfect hat for recreational outings like Theme Parks and alot less than what you will pay for one there. I highly recommend it. I can even wear in when in the convertible with the top down. The airflow is good and the strap makes sure it stays secure even at highway speeds. This is a great hat that will make you look like you just came from filming another remake of "Solomon's Mines". I first found Henschel hats in Solvang, CA. A wonderful Danish tourist trap. Don't need to tell you what the costs were there. Found out later Henschel is made in St. Louis, MO. I haven't found a better all-around hat than this. Especially for golf. The wider brim is much better at keeping the sun off neck and face than a baseball type lid. The chin strap is ideal for windy days on the golf course, and I improved it with a spring-loaded slider. Of course the khaki will show perspiration (& salt) stains if sweating is a problem for you as it is for me. I sometimes use a bandanna under the sweat band as the larger sized Henschel's will accommodate them quite nicely for me. Keeps the hat a lot cleaner.
