I needed something to carry my Wacom 6X11 move safely when I go to school. I watched the bags that are made for 15.5 "laptops where too small for the size I needed to put my wacom in and out of every 17" laptop bags this one seems to be best noted for the best price. When he arrived, I was surprised how big it is. I expected to be about the size of a normal backpack, but I am happy that I have much room to adjust my books there. Another surprise is how light it is compared to its size and the material does not feel cheap at all. The straps are very comfortable even with heavy load. Although the only complaint I have is should it should be a little more cushioning to the bottom where the laptop / wacom would. I plan on using this bag with me when I travel to Japan, and I'm in this challenge as a birthday gift for a friend!

I bought this reading other reviews that an HP laptop 17 "would be appropriate. I was a bit scared that Alienware laptops tend to be slightly longer (Taller?) That the traditional notebook, but I thought I would give it a go. I received today and is well adjusted. It is not too small nor too loose. It's about perfect. The strap that goes over the laptop to lay down to rest firmly in place, not overweight.
That said, the pack seems much cooler in person. I am not fashionable, hip and jive with the new, and it looks cool to me. It is fairly well constructed. I went over the sewing for cracks or cheap materials and I could not find. It has handy pockets in dark places to hide things that a thief would not be random search (as in the fold, there are four pockets, two are kind of hidden). The base of the bag is deep and wide enough to put, I would say, average of three pounds of full size, with the laptop. My charger for my Alienware is enormous, and it still has some room with the cord wrapped around him.
