My order arrived within two days and I noticed a small error on sewing the lining of one of the hand warmer pockets. I sat down with luxury Lane by e-mail and was surprised that the 'no quibble' satisfaction was true. I returned the item and the replacement is perfect. I have proposed this jacket for several months and all other Luxury Lane for price vs. quality. I think this a 2 flight jacket is a great value and a company that really backs their product.

First I want to say that I have several Military Issue a 2 flight jacket in possession, so I have a pretty good idea of how this compared with the original. The color is very close, if not, are a bit darker than some of the originals (Avirex, Cooper, etc..). The best way to describe it is that it " 's chocolate in color. Rather dark, but beautiful. The stitching is tight and the leather seems to be nice and quality. I have no idea what others are saying were too thin on the leather. This is not fine for an A-2 jacket, and actually thicker than the first original horsehide A-2, which I heard.
Finally, I have almost a size larger than I wear purchased (because of the other guests say it) in small editions. But this is not the case. If you look at old photographs of World War II pilots take the A-2's, you will see that they are worn fairly tightly around the chest and shoulders. But ... You can pretty stupid wearing one of those too tight now a day. In any case, this jacket is very generous in the 'width' department, so no need to worry if you're a Clydesdale. If this is the case, then it is probably wise to side up on sizing. Otherwise, use the luxury lane "general" size chart on their site to find detailed instructions.
